1. Who we are
This website, inessantoscoaching.com, is operated by Inês Santos Coaching (“we”, “us”), owned by Inês Santos. Contact: inessantoscoaching@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect and why
Contact form & e-mail. When you send a message or request a discovery call, we collect your name, e-mail address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you and to schedule and deliver coaching services. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Newsletter & free resources. If you sign up to receive the “5-Minute Daily Reset” or our newsletter, we collect your e-mail address and process it via Brevo, our e-mail service provider. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every e-mail. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Technical data. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and access times in server logs, for security and operation of the website.
3. Cookies and browser storage
This website uses technically necessary cookies, for example for caching and performance, and to remember your cookie choice. These do not need your consent.
With your consent, we also use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are read most. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. These cookies are only set after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Deny”, no analytics cookies are set. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time on our Cookie Policy page. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place before. The Cookie Policy also lists every cookie this website uses.
The free guide pop-up saves a small note in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you closed it or signed up, so it does not keep reappearing. This note stays on your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete cookies and stored site data at any time in your browser settings. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run this website and our communications: Hostinger (hosting, EU data centres), Brevo (e-mail marketing), OttoKit (which passes free guide sign-ups to Brevo) and, only if you consent, Google (Google Analytics). We do not sell personal data. Where providers process data outside the EU/EEA, they do so under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep data
Enquiry e-mails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically at the end of the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Coaching-related records are kept for the duration of our work together and any legally required retention periods.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, e-mail us at inessantoscoaching@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).
7. Confidentiality in coaching
Everything you share in coaching sessions is treated as strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
